About The Comedy
Every comedy show. Every comedian. One place.
The Comedy is where Australia finds live stand-up. Browse shows by city and date, see who’s on the lineup, follow the comedians you love so you hear when they’re next in town, and grab tickets in seconds — from club nights and open mics to theatre tours and festival runs.
Every ticket earns membership points you can put towards your next night out, and every comedian has a page with their upcoming shows and links.
Stand Up Sydney & iD Comedy
The Comedy is run by the team behind Stand Up Sydney and iD Comedy Club, who have been putting on stand-up in Sydney since 2017. Founded with a comedian-first mentality, we champion top-tier professional talent and the next generation of rising stars.
Through the highs and lows — including the COVID-19 pandemic — Stand Up Sydney kept supporting local comedians, keeping laughter alive and helping sustain Sydney’s hospitality industry when it needed it most. From packed-out club nights to pop-up shows, we’ve brought stages to life in bars, theatres, rooftops and basements all over the city.
Our shows feature the best comedians in Australia and from around the world, and serve as a springboard for up-and-coming talent. We run shows at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and tour comedians around the country and overseas.
Whether you’re a fan, a venue or a performer: comedy done right — independent, innovative, and always putting the artists first.
