How it works
Five minutes
Sets are up to five minutes. Five comedians compete each heat, in front of a real Friday-night room of up to 200.
Filmed and edited
Every performance is filmed and professionally edited, so competitors walk away with footage they can actually use — whether or not they take the trophy.
Booked after
We keep booking the ones who impress us long after the final. Getting noticed is the hardest part of starting out — this fixes a bit of that.
